What you need to know

If you go to the Create a Listing Page, you will be required to fill in a form to get your property listed. But before you get started, make sure you have the basics in order – ready to go. This way you won’t have to leave a half finished form, while you go hunting for details.

We have compiled a short list of the essentials and we suggest you have these in order before you start filling out the form.

Photos

You will need your photos to be engaging, bright and inviting. The better the quality, the higher the chance of selling.

The suggested size is 1600 x 1200 and roughly 200kB.

Name these photos with search tags. That way the property is easier to find via the search engine.

Size

This might seem obvious, but make sure you have at least the total size, in square meters, of your property.

It would be handy later to have all the room measurements, but for the purposes of creating a listing, have the BUA (built up area) and land size on hand. And don’t get it wrong!

Features

Simply grab a piece of paper, walk around the property, inside and out and jot down everything that’s good. Views, amenities, sunlight and whatever else works.

Also, don’t forget to list what is nearby: shops; schools, beach etc. These can be written in your description as well marked as features in the features section.
